The Good Life is a single-player "Debt Repayment RPG" developed by White Owls Inc., the studio led by SWERY, and published by PLAYISM. It released on October 15, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. You play Naomi Hayward, a New York photojournalist buried in debt, who takes an assignment from The Morning Bell newspaper to uncover the mystery of Rainy Woods, a small English town known as the happiest town in the world.
Rainy Woods hides a strange secret: its residents transform into cats and dogs at night. Soon after Naomi starts investigating, a murder takes place. The game blends a mystery story with daily-life systems. You earn money by taking photo requests and posting trending shots to the in-game social network Flamingo, then spend it on food, clothes, and debt payments. Naomi can also turn into a cat to climb and jump around town or into a dog to track people by scent. Farming, cooking, and drinking at the local pub fill out each day.
It suits players who like quirky story-driven games with life-sim routines. A The Good Life CD key is often the cheapest way to get it on Steam. See the official PLAYISM page for details, and read our tips on buying cheap game keys safely.
