The Last Oricru is a third-person action RPG developed by Czech studio GoldKnights and published by Prime Matter. It launched on October 13, 2022, and the PC version on Steam is now sold as The Last Oricru - Final Cut, a major 1.3 update that reworked large parts of the game. You play Silver, who wakes up on Warenia, a partly terraformed planet sealed off from space by a mysterious barrier and caught on the edge of war between rival races.
The setting mixes sci-fi technology with a medieval look, and the story is not linear. Which faction you back, who you spare and what you do in key moments change how events play out, so two players can see very different outcomes. Between story beats you explore, solve puzzles, level up your abilities and take on demanding boss fights with a stamina-based combat system that rewards parries and timing. The whole campaign supports online co-op and split-screen co-op, so a friend can join your adventure.
The Final Cut adds tiered difficulty levels, an in-game map with objectives, a new save system with multiple slots, a hint system, two new locations and improved co-op netcode.
