Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a full remake of the first two Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. It launched on consoles in September 2020, and the PC version arrived on Steam on October 3, 2023, with Iron Galaxy Studios credited alongside Vicarious Visions. Both games were rebuilt from the ground up in HD rather than simply upscaled.
The appeal is the series' arcade handling: chain grinds, manuals and flip tricks into long combos while you hunt for tapes, letters and goals inside two-minute runs. You skate as Tony Hawk and the original pro roster, plus newer pros, to a soundtrack that mixes the era-defining songs with new tracks. Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater were upgraded, local two-player split-screen returns, and online multiplayer and leaderboards let you test your scores against other players.
