Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator is a simulation and survival game developed by Pentacle and published by PlayWay S.A. It launched on Steam in Early Access on May 30, 2024. You take control of the iconic VL10 electric locomotive and drive it along a stretch of the world's longest railway line, set against the harsh reality of the Soviet Union in the late 1980s.
The game mixes train driving with resource management. You obey signals, avoid derailments and keep worn parts from failing, while also managing hunger, thirst, illness, hypothermia and even hangovers. Three modes shape each run: build a legitimate career as a train driver, fight for survival at any cost, or work for the Soviet mafia and uncover the railway underworld. Money comes from hauling cargo, selling hunting trophies, scrap and loot, and it buys food, tools, spare parts and weapons.
The route covers about 840 km at 1:1 scale, with blizzards, fog and a day-night cycle that change how you drive. Controls can be simplified or realistic. If you want a train sim with stakes beyond the timetable, a Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator CD key is a cheap way in. Fans of pure rail operation may prefer Train Sim World 3.
