Wanba Warriors is an indie 1v1 fighting game developed by Wanba Studio and released on Steam on March 25, 2020, with Wave Games co-publishing. It drops you into an ancient world of supernatural powers and strange weapons, where abstract, wide-eyed fighters swing calligraphy brushes and other oddities at each other in short, physics-driven duels.
The controls are minimal: one joystick and two buttons. Instead of memorizing combo strings, you control momentum, and the harder you swing, the more damage you deal. Rounds are quick, so a loss rarely stings for long. The base game includes six characters, and Wanba Studio has released several Character Pack DLCs that add fighters with very different styles.
The game supports local split-screen battles, online PvP over Steam P2P, LAN play and fights against AI. The studio strongly recommends a controller, and Remote Play Together lets a friend join without owning a copy. A Wanba Warriors CD key is one of the cheapest ways to add a party fighter to your Steam library, and a free demo is available to test controller support first.
