Blazing Beaks is an action roguelite developed and published by the indie studio Applava, released on Steam on May 10, 2019. You control heavily armed birds blasting through procedurally generated levels packed with mutants, monsters and other creatures while searching for the origin of an invading evil. The tone is cute and colorful, but the levels are built to punish careless play.
Its signature twist is greed. Artifacts tempt you with power, yet picking them up brings drawbacks that can make the rest of the run much harder. Story mode supports one or two local players and comes in Normal, Seeded, Daily and Challenge variants, so you can replay a fixed seed or compete on a fresh daily run. Tournament mode turns the game into a 2 to 4 player local arena with Deathmatch, One Gun, Drop Hearts, Skull Keeper and Hunting rules. Ten playable characters bring their own abilities, and Steam Workshop support lets the community create and share custom characters.
A Blazing Beaks CD key fits players who like short, replayable shooting runs and couch multiplayer on one PC. The game has full controller support, Remote Play Together and low hardware needs.
