Circus Electrique is a tactical RPG developed and published by Zen Studios, the Hungarian team best known for its pinball games. It launched on September 6, 2022. The premise: ordinary Londoners suddenly turn into violent killers, and the only people with the skills to stop them are the performers of the city's greatest show. You follow Amelia's quest through six districts of a steampunk London drawn in the style of vintage circus posters.
Play splits into two halves. In turn-based battles you pick from 15 performer archetypes, including Strongmen, Fire Blowers, Escape Artists and Clowns, and face Bobbies, rogue sailors, Posh Girls, Mimes and Robobears. Between fights you rebuild the circus, recruit and train acts, and stage shows for Shillings. The Devotion morale system ties both halves together: a performer's Devotion changes how they fight and how well they perform under the big top.
A Circus Electrique CD key fits players who enjoyed the roster management and stress mechanics of Darkest Dungeon but want a lighter, stranger tone. Find trailers and news on the official Circus Electrique website.
