Colonize is a settlement builder developed by Rembrosoft and published with CreativeForge Games and PlayWay. It released on Steam for Windows PC on February 4, 2026. You found and manage a small colony in the New World during the 17th century, across three scenarios inspired by real settlements: Roanoke, Plymouth and Bermuda. Each location has its own conditions, resources and challenges.
There are no armies, enemies or wars. The pressure comes from the colony itself: food, shelter, weather, workers and the needs of each settler. You gather raw materials, refine them into goods through production chains, and send trade ships to England to buy what your settlement cannot make. Adjustable difficulty lets you play a relaxed session or a tougher survival run, which makes the game a fit for players who prefer slow, thoughtful city-building over military pressure.
If you liked the survival economy of Banished but want a historical frame, a Colonize CD key is an affordable pick. The official Colonize Steam page lists 29 supported interface languages.
