Earthfall is a cooperative first-person shooter developed and published by Seattle studio Holospark. It launched on July 12, 2018 for PC, with console versions released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The setup is simple: an extraterrestrial invasion has pushed humanity to the edge, and a small band of survivors wages a guerrilla war across the Pacific Northwest.
Up to four players, or a mix of friends and AI teammates, fight through 15 story-driven levels. The alien horde is procedurally generated, so enemy waves change from session to session. You use futuristic weapons, print new guns at fabricators, control mounted turrets and build deployable barricades that you can upgrade with fire or electricity. Drop-in, drop-out co-op lets friends join a running match, and the Steam release also lists online PvP.
The game borrows the four-player horde formula that made Left 4 Dead 2 a co-op staple and swaps zombies for alien drones and their masters. It suits groups who want a short, replayable campaign to run together. An Earthfall CD key unlocks the PC version on Steam.
DLC, reviews and requirements are listed on the official Earthfall Steam page.
Four-Player Co-op: Team up with three friends or fill empty slots with AI teammates in classic squad-based gunplay.
Procedural Alien Horde: Enemy waves are generated on the fly, so each run through a level brings new pressure points.
15 Story Levels: Fight through a campaign set across the Pacific Northwest during a full-scale alien invasion.
Printable Guns: Use fabricators in the field to print weapons when supplies run low.
Upgradable Barricades: Deploy defenses and enhance them with fire or electricity to hold choke points.
Mounted Turrets: Take control of heavy turrets to thin out large enemy pushes.
Drop-In, Drop-Out Play: Friends can join or leave a session at any time without restarting the mission.
