Pacific Drive is a first-person driving survival game developed by Ironwood Studios and published by Kepler Interactive. It launched in February 2024 on PC and PlayStation 5. The setting is a surreal take on the Pacific Northwest: the Olympic Exclusion Zone, an abandoned research site left behind by the secretive ARDA organization and now packed with anomalies, radiation and shifting terrain.
Your only companion is an old station wagon. Each run starts at an abandoned garage that serves as your base, where you repair, craft parts and fit upgrades. You then drive into the Zone to gather resources and data, deal with hazards such as scrap piles that roll toward you and towering earth pillars, and race back before a Zone Storm tears the area apart. Keeping fuel in the tank and panels on the car matters as much as your own health. The world changes with every trip, which pushes you to adapt your build and route.
The game suits players who enjoy run-based survival and slow-burn mystery more than pure racing. A Pacific Drive CD key lets you start the road trip for less, and the Whispers in the Woods expansion is sold separately.
Trailers and news are on the official Pacific Drive website.
