Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders is a single-player action-adventure RPG with base-building elements, developed by Polish studio MeanAstronauts and published by PlayWay and Ritual Interactive. It launched on Steam on February 29, 2024. You play Robin, the outlaw of English folk tales, who stands up to the Sheriff of Nottingham.
The game splits its time between two loops. In the open world of Sherwood Forest you hunt, fight, craft and steal from convoys and noble estates. Back home you turn a small forest camp into a town, assign settlers to jobs such as craftsman, hunter or guard, and manage resources. Familiar names join you, including Lady Marian, Little John, Friar Tuck, Allan-a-Dale and Will Scarlet. As the settlement grows, an uprising in Nottingham becomes possible.
It suits players who like survival-crafting games with a story goal and a medieval setting. Fans of co-op heist action may also want to look at Gangs of Sherwood, a different take on the legend. A Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders CD key activates on Steam, and the official Steam page lists the latest updates.
