Tchia is an open-world action-adventure developed by Awaceb and published by Kepler Interactive. It first launched on March 21, 2023 for PC and PlayStation, and the Steam version followed in 2024. You play Tchia, a girl who sets out to rescue her father from Meavora, the cruel ruler of an archipelago inspired by New Caledonia.
Movement is the heart of the game. You climb anything, including physics-driven trees, glide between islands, swim, and sail a customizable boat across lagoons and coral reefs. Tchia's soul-jumping gift lets her take control of over 30 animals and hundreds of objects, so you can fly as a bird, swim as a fish or dig as a dog to solve puzzles and find secrets. Combat against the Maano, enemies made of wood and fabric, rewards improvisation. A fully playable ukulele drives rhythm sections in the story and can trigger events in the open world.
