The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is a cinematic branching horror game from Supermassive Games, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It released on November 17, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is the fourth game in the anthology and the Season One finale. A struggling documentary crew receives an invitation to a modern replica of serial killer H.H. Holmes' World's Fair Hotel, the so-called Murder Castle, and soon learns someone is watching and manipulating them.
The core formula remains: switch between five characters, make choices, and survive quick-time events, with every character able to live or die. The Devil in Me adds new systems to the series, including character inventories, tool-based puzzles, and expanded movement such as running, jumping, and climbing. Shared Story online co-op and five-player Movie Night return, and the Curator's Cut unlocks after the main story.
If you played House of Ashes, this entry offers a slasher-style setting instead of creature horror. A The Devil in Me CD key from a trusted seller costs less than the standard store price. More details are on the official Dark Pictures site.
