The Waylanders is a party-based role-playing game developed and published by Spanish studio GATO STUDIO, released on PC on February 2, 2022. The story opens at the first meeting between the Celts and their gods, the Tuatha Dé Danann. Negotiations go wrong, a fight with a god leaves your hero near death, and you come loose from time.
The campaign moves between two eras of Galicia: a Celtic age full of magic, Mourians, werewolves and goblins, and a Medieval Spain where religion has replaced the old powers and magic is fading. You choose sides in a split kingdom, build friendships and romances with mortal and immortal companions, and see how a thousand years of change have reshaped the land. Combat uses real time with pause, so you can stop the action to queue spells and abilities for each party member.
