What the Fog is a co-op action roguelite developed and published by Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind Dead by Daylight. It released on Steam on May 14, 2024 and takes a lighter, arcade-style look at the same universe.
You and a friend get swallowed by a cursed board game. Playing as Dwight, Claudette or Feng Min, you run, jump, dash and shoot through swarms of monsters and bosses, collecting Bloodpoints along the way. Each level asks you to find and repair Generators, activate their runes to upgrade your character, and unlock the exit doors. Levels are randomly generated, so every run plays out differently.
The game supports solo play and two-player online co-op, and a downed partner can be revived. Eight difficulty settings make it approachable for newcomers to roguelites. A What the Fog CD key is a cheap, quick-session option for Dead by Daylight fans and co-op duos. Details are on the official Steam page.
