Farlands is a farming and life simulation game developed by JanduSoft with Eric Rodríguez, and published by JanduSoft and Anotherindie. It released on Steam for Windows PC in July 2026. The premise puts a sci-fi twist on the genre: you leave a crowded metropolis after buying an entire planet at a bargain price, an old agrarian rock in a remote solar system that has been abandoned for years. You arrive with little more than a worn-out ship and a personal assistant droid.
The core loop is restoration. You cut weeds, clear paths, reclaim fields and repair what time has broken, turning the planet into a working homestead. Your ship lets you travel to other planets in the system to gather resources that improve your farm, tools and vessel. Along the way you meet the handful of residents who stayed behind and learn why they did. A larger mystery hints at why the planet was so cheap, and saving the solar system is the long-term goal.
A Farlands CD key fits players who like Stardew Valley style farming but want a space setting. The low system needs mean it runs on most laptops. More details are on the official Steam page.
